Woke up at 9ish this morning and found that the sun is really up high. How could I miss this?! So quickly go online to search for the trails of Autumn Leaves nearby. And good, Takaozan is only an hour away from my place. Let's go!
Packing up and left home at 10ish. I arrived at the 高尾線高尾山口駅 (Takaozanguichi) at 12:15.
So here you go:
12:30 - 14:15 -> From zero latitude to 599m high - top of 高尾山 through Trail #1
14:15 - 15:00 -> Rest and have lunch at the Meiji Memorial Forest Takao Quasi-National Park
15:00 - 16:30 -> Returning from a diff trail - 稲荷山
- Entire trail info is here FYI:

Believe me, for a scale of 5 (5 being most difficult), this 稲荷山 down trail is 10 out of 5.
Lots of bumps and slopes to climb. I nearly freaked out towards the down trail, coz sun is going down and I just keep hiking without seeing any directions. Luckily there are usually ppl around me along the trail.
So, the best way to do this is to take the cable car up to the top, then walk down via Trail #1.
The whole thing is really taken my legs and knees off! Let alone holding my 7D + 70-200 lens!
Anyways, if you are still interested, here is how to get there:

And, da-da, the pictures! Sorry I am too tired to type anymore, pls enjoy~
