10 Oct 2010: Bye to Jessica (sob) and shopping in Shinjuku downtown

So, already 9 days my sister and Jessica has been here. I really wish they could stay longer, they have made perfect companions, and cheered by new life in here, and helped a lot in my apartment hunting. Without them, these will really be sucking my soul off. Thanks darlings, you two are the prettiest, smartest and lovable ones surely! Pls come again soon!

[Where] Ginza Line - Ginza Station Exit B9, Turn right and walk towards Sony building
[What] Pork Rice, so we start off with Don Katsu ...

Deep fried Oyster, yum yum!

Don Katsu - Yum

Then, we walked around the Ginza area, one recommendation if you are mochi lover, check this out, opposite to Metro, cross the road from Mitsusakaya department store...大福餅 the first one on the right is the BEST!

Then shopping time! The main street in Ginza (u'll know which one) is all closed for pedestrians, how nice, very easy to walk around. And the Apple shop is 4 leveled with lots of accessaries on the 4/F, must go there Apple fans!

Then, Jessica is taking the limosine to the airport...Juli and I carry on with the Ueno snacks/tea leaves shopping! 上野広小路駅

This one we didn't have chance to try, but recommended in books for Eel rice!

The super cheap and nice sashimi rice bowl street stall :

人氣 Tuna Sashimi bowl!

This is not enough, after Ueno, we strolled off to Tokyo for department stores...
However..we felt super upset, price tags are sky high! I think I need to make a trip back to HKG for shoes shopping real soon!

But dinner is not bad, 東方見聞錄 (a chain dining place), noisy, smoky, but food is nice, and OK priced, and best, we ordered via LCD monitor, with English help on screen, what a relief!
Recommend: 秋刀魚 - it's October, good season for 秋刀魚

What a long day...and tmr...Juli is leaving...
